Moore Infrared Thermographic Services is family-owned and operated right here in Saline, MI. Since our company opened its doors in 1998, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Stephen Moore, the principal infrared thermographer, has extensive infrared camera experience and has pioneered new applications such as developing a Patent Pending procedure for thermographic examination of open-air refrigerated grocery shelves containing raw meats and other perishable items. He also has performed infrared imaging on many thousands of electrical components during and after his tenure as an industrial electrician for the Ford Motor Company. He has an ongoing research project with key tornado researchers at the University of Oklahoma.

Stephen has worked closely with the legendary Professor Howard Bluestein at OU, he is the one who originated the idea of using Doppler radar to determine wind velocity in tornadoes. Stephen has authored and co-authored seven technical papers at the FLIR Inframation Conferences since Inframation's inception in 2000. Stephen holds a BA from Albion College, and Level III Thermographer Certification from the Infrared Training Center in Boston.
